Bach Concert LIVE
ON JUNE 18TH AT 7:00PM. REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED

Over the past several years they have given concert in the US and Europe centered around Bach’s Cello Suites and his Sonatas and Partitas that bring together Bach’s faith and his compositions. In the recitals, they will give a short talk with program notes explaining the Christological symbolism in the Cello Suites, including Bach’s depiction of the nativity in the fist suite, Christ’s agony in the garden in the second, His crucifixion on the fifth suite and His resurrection in the sixth. The program also highlights the symbolism in Bach’s fist Sonata and last Partita.
This performance will be socially distanced. This event is family appropriate for attendees over the age of six. A free will offering will be accepted. Please enter though door number 13, the concert will take place in the main church. If you have been sick over the last 14 days prior to this event with a fever, a cough, or do not feel safe, please stay home. All guests are required to wear masks while inside the building. Know that Saint Paul Catholic Church has taken all prescribed precautions to provide a safe environment for our guests. El dúo, Valentina Guillen Manesello y Samuel Walter radican en New Haven y Chicago, y son graduados de la Escuela de Música de Yale y la Universidad North Western.
En los últimos años han dado conciertos en los Estados Unidos y Europa centrados en las Suites de Violonchelo o de Bach y sus Sonatas y Partitas que acogen la fe de Bach en sus composiciones. En los recitales, darán una breve charla con notas del programa explicando el simbolismo Cristológico en las Suites de Violonchelo, incluyendo la representación de Bach del belén en la primera suite, la agonía de Cristo en el jardín en la segunda, Su crucifixión en la quinta Suite y Su resurrección en el sexto. El programa también destaca el simbolismo en la primera Sonata y la última Partita de Bach.
Se conservara el distanciamiento social en este evento. Este evento es apropiado para familias con personas mayores de seis años de edad. Se aceptara una donación voluntaria. Favor de entrar por la pueda número 13, el concierto se llevara a cabo en la iglesia principal.
